AVAILABLE IN 50FT ROLLS and 3 different widths; 2.5", 3.5", and 6" to accommodate all roof shapes and sizes. For best results, use the 2.5” for areas with 20ft or less below the installation area. The 3.5” protects up to 30ft below installation. For anything over 30ft use the 6”. When in doubt, we recommend the 3.5", which will provide more zinc exposure and ions to protect the roof. Purchase includes a bag of ZincShield Nails.

ZincShield is installed at the top of the roof (below the roof ridge vent, roof cap or below the first row of shingles) and below any obstruction such as chimneys, skylights, dormers, etc. that block the natural flow of rain water down the roof. ZincShield will quickly weather so that the finish will have a dull, pewter-gray appearance.
