About Dwyer Series RHP-3O11 RH/Temperature

The Dwyer Series RHP-3O11 RH/Temperature Transmitter is a humidity and temperature transmitter for outside air (OSA) monitoring and has a temperature range of -40 to +140 degrees F (-40 to +60 degrees C) and a humidity measurement range of 0 to 100% relative humidity with an accuracy of + or -3%. The transmitter has a polymer capacitance humidity sensor that is not affected by condensation, fog, high humidity, or contaminants, making it useful in building energy management systems, commercial and residential HVAC applications, clean rooms, museums, and climate chambers. The sensor is calibration-free and quickly recovers from 100% saturation. The filter is removable and the sensor can be replaced without replacing the complete unit. The transmitter requires 10 to 35VDC power and weighs 1 lb./0.45 kg.Hygrometers measure the moisture content, or humidity, in the environment, either as relative humidity (percentage of moisture in the air) or as absolute humidity (amount of moisture in the air). Some hygrometers can also measure temperature, dew point, and pressure. Handheld hygrometers are compact devices that use attached probes to take measurements and have a digital screen to report measurements. Other hygrometers utilize transmitters to send measurements from probes placed in ducts or outside environments to an output device; one example of this type is a weather forecasting hygrometer. Hygrometers are used in laboratories, storage areas, greenhouses, saunas, humidors, industrial and residential settings, and museums. Hygrometers can form part of devices called humidistats to help control humidifiers or dehumidifiers to regulate the humidity of the air.Dwyer Instruments manufactures measurement and control instruments, including pressure gauges, flow meters, level instrumentation, temperature instrumentation, and air quality monitors. The company, founded in 1931, is headquartered in Michigan City, IN.
